BM-02: Flag raising Ceremony

There's a very important ceremony will be held on the Tian'an men Square every early morning before the sunrise. It's called as Flag-raising ceremony. When the ceremony starts, a group of guards of honor(composed by the military soldiers) will march out of the Tian'an men(the Gate of Heavenly peace, used to be the entrance to the Imperial city),and put the flag up on the flag-pole in the northern end of the Tian'an men Square. The ceremony will last about 10-15 minutes only, but it attracts hundreds or thousands visitors every early morning, especially during these important days and festivals, such as on May 1st (Internationa l Labor day),on Oct 1st (National day), every New year, and China 's New Year as well. |

| Tour schedule: |
Hotel pick-up 30 minutes in advance before the Flag-raising Ceremony. After viewing the ceremony, go around the Tian'an men Square -the largest square in the world, visit the Chairman Mao's Mausoleum and Ming City Wall Relic Park , and transfer back to your hotel.

Note: For the political reasons, perhaps Chairman Mao's Mausoleum would close to the public during some certain period, if that so, we will arrange a park or garden to substitute this site. In addition, you'd better dressed formally when you visit Chairman Mao's Mausoleum; those people do not allowed to go into the building who wears shorts or slippers on. Any bags and cameras do not allowed take into the building either, you may leave them to your guide; she/he will help you taking good care of them. |
