| Chrysanthemum Island, once called Juehua Island, is the largest island in Bohai Bay. The legend has it that the monk called Juehua together with his two prentices one day came to Bohai Sea by boat. They are greatly impressed by the beautiful scenery there and decided to settle down there. He built Grand Dragon Palace Temple and specialized in Buddhism study. After that, steles, pagodas are erected there and Chrysanthemum Island became famous Buddhism spot.
There are lots of history site on the Chrysanthemum Island. From the history relic, we can image the refulgence they owned in the past. Along the road, you can see Tang king Cave, Aniseed Glass Well, Nine peak Stone and Boddha Tree and other famous attractions. It is a good place to visit and avoid the Summer Heat.
