Beijing Orient Tianxing Huapu Country Club is situated at the northeastern part of Beijing city. In fact, the club is strategically located right to the north of Wangjing District, one of the residential districts of Beijing which accommodates the living of over 500000 people. Moreover, the club can be easily reach by all means of transportation as well with the distance of 25 minutes drive from the Beijing city center and 15 minutes drive from Beijing Capital Airport. The club is also the only golf course which is equipped with spot lights for the golfing activity in the night.
The club has covered an area of over 1100 Mu with 7024 yards court length. The whole project of the golf club is planned and designed by world renowned Bill Young of Canada and T. K. Pen of US. The course is strictly designed according to its original topography. The nine holes in front are set within the theme of forest golfing with slopes every here and there. On the other hand, another nine holes is designed with ocean theme that increasing the requirements on golfers’ skills. The most interesting and challenging route would be Par-3 Hole 16 and Par-5 Hole 18 where golfer is required to send the ball to and isle surrounded by waters.
Besides having the lighted golf course for night golfers, the club also offers a huge practice center with 16 lawn lines and 24 artificial lawn lines for its member as well. On top of that, the clubhouse which is designed by Thomas Pen, a Harvard Graduate Architectural School Master Architect is worth for a visit as well. The clubhouse has been once featured in the New York Metropolis magazine.
