Grand Epoch City is strategically located at the border of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, the Golden Triangle which can be easily reached by all means of transportation. The 27-hole golf course is uniquely designed in the combination of Chinese and western style. The course is made up of 18-hole daylight course and a 9*hole lighting course. The ancient city walls, city towers as well as the modern design of the golf course have created an outstanding environment for golfing. The whole area has covered 1900 Mu with sand bunks and water systems flowing in between. Lush greenery, towers and pavilions have added marks to the entire green lawn while creating a convenient surrounding that modeled on the old Beijing city wall.
The 9-hole lighting golf course is designed by Peter Thompson, a well known Australian golfer as well as a course designer. Moreover, the international standard Italian Disano lighting devices were applied throughout the course in order to ensure the best lighting effect within the course. Even though you are playing golf in the evening, you will feel as if playing under daylight as well. The total length of the course is 3545 yards with standard 36 Par. The first hole is at 401 yards of length with standard 4 Par. There is a corner with large water surface at about 200 yards from the starting point. This requires the golf to send the ball to the sand bunk on the left at about 270 yards away in order to continue the route easily. This is exactly an exciting and challenging point for every golfer. On the other hand, the Hole-7 with total length of 195 yards, 3 Par is another highlight of the course as the landing point is laid on an island surrounded by water when you take a look from the starting point.
On top of that, the 18-hole course which was designed surrounding the city is designed also by an Australian golf course designer, Greg Norman. With the total length of 7029 yards, 72 Par, the course is divided into two sections. The fourth hole with total length of 551 yards is blessed with panoramic view. It is one of the Top Nine Best Hole throughout the course.
