Beijing Huanghuacheng Great Wall which located at southwestern part of Huairou District, Beijing is also named as Jintang Great Wall (Golden Soup Great Wall). Huanghuacheng Great Wall was built ever since Northern Qi Dynasty (550 to 557), and later refurbishment and reconstruction had been taken place several times within Sui Dynasty (581 to 681) and Tang Dynasty (618 to 907).

There are three perfect scene of Huanghuacheng Great Wall.
First Perfect Scene – The great wall is built in year 1404 of Ming Dynasty and look as if a dragon that attach to the mountains as well as along the lake side. Moreover, it is also the one of the most important security points to the Ming Tombs.

Second Perfect Scene – Lake has naturally separated the great wall into three parts. The scene of great wall meets with water is seldom found throughout the great wall all over China. Thus, this breathtaking scene is then categorized as major attraction of Huanghuacheng Great Wall.

Third Perfect Scene – The Chestnut garden ever since Ming Dynasty has won many applause from tourists from all over the world. According to history, 70% of the soldiers of Ming Dynasty that based here were responsible in the plantation chestnut. Therefore, huge chestnut plantation farm can still be seen nowadays.
Throughout the history, Huanghuacheng Great Wall had played a very important role especially in military and security purpose. This section was well known as the North Gate of Beijing which served as the main gateway to connect between northern nations and Beijing. As for this special purpose, Huanghuacheng Great Wall was uniquely designed so that the safety of capital Beijing could be ensured. There are three security points throughout this section. On the first security point, "Jin Tang", two huge Chinese characters were carved on the western hill slope; this is also the reason why this section was named as Jintang Great Wall.

After several renovation projects were taken place, Huanghuacheng Great Wall has been developed into a tourist spot in Beijing with Jintang Pond and Banbi Shan (Half Walled Hill) as major attractions. Huanghuacheng Great Wall is not well developed as Badaling Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall and Simatai Great Wall. Normally, this section is not recommended for normal tourists unless you are interested to find out the original look of great wall in a very natural surrounding. It might be a tiring trip if you choose to visit here but it worth for it.
