Nanshan Temple as one of the major attractions of Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone of Sanya is strategically located about 40 kilometers from Sanya City, Hainan Province. Occupying an area of over 66 acres, Nanshan Temple is the largest Buddhist site that newly established after the liberation of People's Republic of China.
Nanshan Temple has housed several replicas architecture of Tang Dynasty which was built by the sea. The Renwang Gate at the entrance of the temple, the Doushuai Adytum, Daxiongbaodian and etc are all the famous attractions of Nanshan Temple.
