Built in 1957, Qinling Park is the center of Guiyang city. It is famous for tranquil water, ancient temples, mysterious trees etc. The name was derived from the Qianling Mountain that lies in the park, which is the most famous mountain in southern Guizhou.

There are eight predominant scenic locations: Sanlingwan, Macaque Garden, Hongfu Temple, Kylin Cave, the Zoo, Qianling Lake, Two-Dam Wind-Rain Bridge, and the Winding Mountain Path. There are about 1,500 kinds of trees and flowers as well as 1000 kinds of herbs in the Qianling Mountain. And gregarious macaques and flocks of birds can be found there too.

Visitors may go up the winding path to the Hongfu Temple up the hill. Hongfu Temple is one of the most famous Buddhism temples in Guizhou province, which is first built in the year 1,672. At the foot of the Qianling Mountain, there is the Qianling Lake with an area of 35 hectares.
