Zhan Qiao Pier is at the tip of Qingdao Bay off Zhongshan Road. It is 440-meter long and 10-meter wide with giant granite supports. At the south end of the bridge is a Chinese style octagon pavilion. Zhanqiao pier is viewed as the symbol of Qingdao.
Little Qingdao Isle sits to southeast of Zhanqiao. With an area of 12,000 square meters, it is an isle off the coast. This island is 17 meter above the sea level and 720 meters to the bank.
