The New Yuan Ming Palace which famed as the only imperial garden at the southern China can be considered as the brightest pearl of Zhuhai City. The palace which has covered an area of 1.39 square kilometers, surrounded by mountain on three sides and easily reached by all means of transportation is the largest tourism scenic area of Zhuhai.
The construction of The New Yuan Ming Palace was begun in year 1992 and it took about five years to accomplish. 18 scenes out of the total of 40 scenes at the Old Summer Palace of Beijing have been placed gracefully within the park. All these scenes were designed strictly according to its original plan while integrating with the original topography of the surrounding.
