Address: Wuyishan Wuyi Town Nanping Fujian Province
Wuyi Mountain is the largest as well as best preserved humid subtropical native forest in the world. Covering an area of 70 square kilometers at the south of Wuyishan City, Wuyi Mountain is famous with its steep cliffs and crystal clear water. The natural environment of Wuyi Mountain is blessed with 36 peaks, 72 caves, 99 prominent rocks and 108 scenic spots.
One of the most prestigious natural scenes at Wuyi Mountain is the stone slabs and boa shaped rocks over deep gullies. When you take a view on the water, you will find two stone boats with 6 meters length above several crisscross slabs that perched highly on the cliffs. Besides that, the Nine Twist Stream with nine twists through a journey of nine kilometers length is another famous spot here. It would be interesting to drift down the stream by bamboo raft which takes about 2 hours. Throughout the rafting process, you will be able to witness many beautiful landscapes, such as the Yunvfeng (Jade Maiden Peak), Dawangfeng (Great King Peak) and Tianyoufeng (Heavenly Tour Peak).
