Xihui Park which located at the western suburb of Wuxi City is named upon Xi Mountain and Hui Mountain. The whole area of Xi Mountain, the eastern slope of Hui Mountain as well as the Yingshan Lake which connecting Xi Mountain and Hui Mountain are all included within the park. In other word, Xihui Park has combined all the beauty of two mountains within the garden at the same time enriched with historical heritage throughout the dynasties.
There are many interesting spots within Xihui Park. For example, the Huishan Temple is one of the famous temples at southern part of China. Constructed in South North Dynasty, it had been visited several times by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. Besides that, Jichang Garden which used to be residential area of the monks had been renovated into Chinese garden named within the reign of Emperor Zhengde of Ming Dynasty. Later in year 1684, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty had further the refurbishment projects within the park and made it a perfect destination for retreat. There is a lake at the eastern part of Jichang Garden which surrounded by typical Chinese corridor. A hexagon pavilion with stone table and chairs can be found at the center part of the corridor. It was said that this was the place where Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty playing chess with the monks of the temple.
