Confucius Family Mansion located to the east of the Confucius Temple is the resident of Confucius family. First built in Song Dynasty, it has been repaired and enlarged for many times. The mansion occupies over 200 acres. There are total more than 480 rooms.

The ancient government office and the resident built in the same place; this mansion is a classic manor. The government office was used to receive the imperial edicts or handle family affairs. There is an elegant garden behind the back courtyard of Confucius Family Mansion. This mansion houses large quantity of historical files, culture relics, costumes of different dynasties, etc.
