In Mongolian ''Gegentala'' means a summer resort or the place of grazing in summer. Gegentala Grassland is 140 kilometers away from the Huhhot. It was open in 1979. The grasses grow prospectively; hills look beautiful; groups of horses and goats running. The owner holds a whip and point to the sky. With thriving grass and abundant water, the green of the grassland reach out as far as your eyes can see.The scene is so poetic.
Except of the natural scenery, other attractions include traditional Mongolian food, Mongolian dances, horse-riding, wrestling etc. Not only can you appreciate these activities, but also you can join in the activities. After a full day trip, in the evening, sitting around bonfires with enjoying local singing and dancing could be a pleasant thing.
