Tour schedule:

Day 1: Beijing to Datong (by train)
Hotel/apartment pick-up around 22:30 by our vehicle & tour guide. Transfer to railway station to take overnight train to Datong. Our guide will help you with the check-in process; she/he will not leave until they see you off to board the train.
Meal: None

Day 2: Datong and Departure
Arrive at Datong at 06:21. Your tour guide will pick you up from Datong train station and take you to breakfast. Then you will be given time to take a shower and have a short rest (about 1.5-2 hours) in the guest room.
We will drive about 1.5 hours to Hanging Temple where we will tour for about 1-1.5 hours. We will drive another 1.5 hours back to downtown Datong and have lunch in a local restaurant around 1:30-2pm.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Yungang Grottoes and the Nine-Dragon Screen.
In the evening we will have a typical Chinese dinner. After an entire day of touring, we will transfer to the train station. You will travel on the overnight train to Beijing.
Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 3: Arrive in Beijing
Early morning 05:10, pick up by our guide & driver, and then be transferred to your hotel/apartment where the lovely tour ends!

A. We recommend that you book this tour early, especially during Chinese national holidays, as it is difficult to get train tickets for that time.
B. The train information listed above is for reference, it might be changed due to holidays, late booking, or any other unpredicted reasons, we keep such right without any prior notice. However, your travel time and numbers of the scheduled attractions will never be shortened.
C. This is a private tour package. No other travelers will join your exclusive group.
D. Only traditional Chinese meals are planned during the tour, if this is not preferable please let us know in advance.
