Tour Itinerary
Hotel/apartment pick-up at 5:30 am by our tour guide and vehicle with driver. Then Transfer to the Beijing West Railway Station to take the train to Taiyuan. The guide will not leave until see you off to board on the train.
Taiyuan-Pingyao-Taiyuan
Upon arrival at Taiyuan Railway Station, you will be met by our local guide (She/he will hold a sign with your name on it at the exit of the station). You will then drive directly to Pingyao (1.5-2 hour drive). Once in Pingyao, we will begin by visiting the Pingyao Ancient City, including the Ancient City Wall, Ri Sheng Chang Private Bank and Ming Qing Street. We will then see the well-known Qiao Family Courtyard on the way back to Taiyuan. After a day of touring, you will be transferred back to Taiyuan Railway Station. Our guide will escort you until you have boarded the train.
Beijing Arrival
Upon arrival at Beijing West Railway Station, you will be met by our guide & driver again. They will then transfer you back to your hotel/apartment.

Taiyuan Station to Beijing West Railway Station D2024 19:11-22:28 (soft seat)
*First-class seats are the first choice. If these are fully booked, we will book the second-class ticket.

A. We recommend that you book this tour early, especially during Chinese national holidays, as it is difficult to get train tickets for that time.
B. Distance: Taiyuan-Pingyao 80kms/ 50miles; Pingyao-Qiaojia Family 30kms/ 19miles; Qiaojia Family-Taiyuan 48km/ 30miles
C. For multiple unit trains mentioned above, Taiyuan and Beijing are terminal stations respectively.
D. This is a private tour package. No other travelers will join your exclusive group.
