Pearl Market
The Pearl market, or Hongqiao Market, is a modern market where Chinese authentic items can be purchased. Standing near the Temple of Heaven, this is the largest venue selling pearls in Beijing. Along with pearls, a variety of other items are also sold inside the market.

Yaxiu Market
Yaxiu Market is very similar to the Silk Market, but the prices are much lower since it is frequented by Beijing locals. Sits in west Sanlitun between the Village and the Worker's Stadium North gate. If you are looking to mix with Beijingers and willing to attempt Chinese then this is the place to come!

Wangfujing Street
Talking about Wangfujing, one would think of the Snack street and shopping malls. It is a place gathering many famous brands, a good shopping destination with short distance to Tiananmen Square, CBD and easy access to subway station, which all make it the most attractive shopping place in Beijing.

Qianmen Street
Qianmen Street is the most ancient and famous business street which owns a long history of almost 500 years. It is located at south of Tiananmen Square, west of Qianmen dajie.
After three times reconstruction, Dashila is opened again on August 7, 2008 to welcome the Beijing Olympic Games. The new pedestrian street has a length of 840 meters from north end Qianmen Yueliangwan to south end Zhushikou. This street assembles all kinds of traditional specialty shops such as Qianmen Quanjuede Roast Duck Restaurant, Dabei Photo Studio, Zhangyiyuan Tea Shop, Tongrentang Drugstore, Ruifuxiang Silk Shop, Guangdelou Theater etc. The new street like streetlamp, rubbish cabin, the tablet is reconstructed in Ming and Qing construction style. The other thing attracting your attention is the Dangdangche, a kind of old-style tramcar.

Beijing Friendship Store
Located near the embassy area, Beijing Friendship Store is the largest store in China catering to foreign residents and tourists. It was opened in 1973.
