Mingzhu & Zhongyou in Xidan
Mingzhu and Zhongyou Market are two hot shopping sites in Xidan commercial street, Beijing which receive thousands of locals for clothes, shoes, hats, bags and small commodities shopping every day. The stuff sold here are very cheap and customers can bargain on the price.

Zoo Market
This massive wholesale market is truly the cheapest shopping spot in Beijing. They sell clothing, shoes, bags, hair accessories, sporting equipment, jewelry and more. Everything is sold at high discount prices because they are bought wholesale. Most items in Xidan or Wudaokou originally come from this venue. This area is always packed with shoppers especially on weekends, so try to shop here on weekdays and and in the morning. Be sure to bargain with the shopkeepers, they expect it! The market is open from 4am to 5pm daily.

Wudaokou Market
The 2-story market is lined with small and stylish boutiques selling casual and trendy T-shirts, jeans, skirts and accessories at prices lower than the Xidan markets. With a younger market due to all the close Universities, they sell popular clothes and many name brands are available here, such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Juicy Couture, Paul Smith, and Y3.There are hundreds of stalls and a variety of stock. This is a bargain market and no prices are final. In addition, there are some restaurants and snack store on the 1st floor of the market which are a good break from shopping.

Xinjiekou shopping street
Xinjiekou is another hot shopping street among locals in Beijing. Though things in this street are a bit more expensive than those of markets, it still receives lot of local visitors every day seeking for better quality brand stuff.

Nuren Jie (Ladies Street)
Nuren Jie, also known as Ladies Street, is the first and largest ladies products retailing market in Beijing. A large selection of women's clothing, shoes, bags, costumes etc are available and sold at moderate prices in this market. It is located near the Lufthansa Centre in the northeast area of Beijing.

Silver Street
Silver Street is in the Dongdan Beidajie area adn is one block east of Wangfujing Street. This is where the franchchised foreign name-brand shops are concentrated.  In addition, the street is lined with high-end hotels, classy restaurants, office buildings, and shopping centers.
