Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival, Tiananmen Sqaure, Forbidden City, Summer Palace
-Pick up at the exit of the Xingang Port by our tour guide & private car/van. Then 3 hour drive to the Beijing urban area.
-Stroll around Tiananmen square- the largest city square in the world. Visit there for about half an hour. Enter the Forbidden City from the northern end of the square. Tour the ancient imperial palace for about 1.5- 2 hours.
-In order to see as much as possible, a fast lunch (example KFC) will be arranged. Visit the Summer Palace- a monument to classical Chinese architecture in terms of both garden design and construction. Explore for about 1 hour.
-Transfer to your hotel. Our guide will help you to check in at the hotel.

Day 2. Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tomb-Ding Tomb
- Hotel check-out & pick-up at 8:00 am. Travel to one of the seven great wonders, the Badaling Great Wall which is the most famous section of the Great Wall in Beijing. It takes about an hour to get there. Visit the Great Wall for 1-1.5 hours.
-Drive for about 30 minutes to a local restaurant and have a typical Chinese lunch.
-After a short rest, transfer to Dingling, the only one of the Ming Tombs to have been excavated. Visit the tomb, including the underground palace, for about an hour.
-Transfer back to the Xingang Port after an entire day tour (arrive at Xingang Port at approximately 6:00 pm).

Note:If you'd like, we may stop at the Olympic Venues (Bird's Nest & Water Cube) for 10 minutes to take pictures.
Tips for Xingang Port Pick-up:
What you need to do on your own: Disembark from your cruise ship according to the travel schedule and collect your luggage. After walking through customs in the building which is next to the cruise ship dock, you will see our tour guide holding a sign with your name on it. Our tour guide will welcome you just outside of the gate to the building.

A. If you would like us to transfer you to the Beijing airport after the tour, a lower rate will be offered!
B. In order to arrange the tour please let us know the name of your cruise ship and arrival and departure times.
C. If you prefer to visit other tour sites, we may arrange them according to your travel schedule.
D. Tianjin Xingang Port is over 170 kms from Beijing urban area. It takes about 3 hours to drive.
E. After the tour is arranged, we will send you a confirmation letter.
