Day 1: Arrive in Xian
Upon arrival in Xian, you are greeted at the airport or train station by our English speaking guide and then transferred to your hotel by private van. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2: Xian
Today, the highlights include Terra-cotta Warriors. You will visit the luxury underground palace of Emperor Qinshihuang, the Archaeological Museum of 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and horses. After that we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built as a Buddhist Monastery during the Tang Dynasty. In the evening we attend a re-enactment of the royal arts performance of a 7th century Tang Dynasty Show, with a special banquet dinner of dumplings included.

Day 3: Xian-Dunhuang
After breakfast, visit Xian's well preserved Ancient City Walls, built in the early Ming Dynasty (about 600 years ago), you can also have the opportunity to ride a bicycle on the wall. Then transfer to airport to take a flight to Dunhuang (2 hours), arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 4: Dunhuang-Turpan
After breakfast, visit the Mogao Grottoes, the best preserved example of Buddhist caves art in China. Then in the afternoon visit Mingsha-Hill and the Crescent Moon Lake set in an amphitheater of sand dunes. After dinner, transfer you to train station and take the train T197 (depart at 10:28 pm) to Turpan.

Day 5: Turpan
Upon arrival at Turpan (06:33am), you will be transferred to hotel for breakfast and short rest. Turpan is famous with his "four most" in China (the lowest place, the driest, hottest and the sweetest), the trip including the legendary Flaming Mountains, Grape Valley-all over the grape trellises, Karez Well-an underground irrigation system in Turpan, the ruins of Ancient City of Jiaohe-the best preserved ruins of ancient city firstly built in 2century to 5 century B.C.

Day 6: Turpan-Urumqi
After breakfast, visit Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves-culture and art treasure of Huihu (ancient nationality) Buddhism, the Emin Minaret-a typical Uygur architecture  and Astana Ancient Tombs-ancient underground museum where the dead of Gaochang were buried. Then take bus to Urumqi (2 hours). Have dinner and check in.

Day 8: Kashgar-Karakuli Lake-Kashgar
Full day round trip to visit the Lake Karakuli,190 kilometers from Kashgar and 1500 kilometers from Urumqi in southwest Xinjiang, and about 3600 meters above sea level. Horses, yaks and camels graze on the rich pasturage. You can enjoy the beautiful view on the way. Return to Kashgar for overnight.

Day 9: Kashgar-Urumqi
Morning visits the Id Kah Mosque and the Old Street, in the afternoon visit the famous Sunday Bazaar, which is a social and commercial highlight of the week in Western Xinjiang. In the bazaar you can find different kinds of goods: ironware, silverware, fruit, clothes, local food, livestock, etc. There is a bazaar everyday in Kashgar, but the one on Sunday is the liveliest, as the whole community gets together. At night, take a flight to Urumqi (1 hour 40 mins). Then transfer to hotel check in.

Day 10: Depart Urumqi
Your guide will meet you at the hotel and see you off at Urumqi airport.(Service Ends)
