Travel route

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and then transferred to your hotel by private van. The rest of the day is for you to recover from jetlag.
Meals: None

Day 2: Beijing
A full day city tour to soak up the atmosphere of Beijing. This includes visiting historical sites such as the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Then we will go to watch an entertaining acrobatic show. Enjoy the famous Peking Roasted Duck dinner before back to the hotel.

Day 3: Beijing
The highlights of today include a visit to the Great Wall, the only man-made wonder on earth visible from the moon. Then travel to the Ming Tombs to see the resting place of thirteen Chinese Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Our memorable date continues with an outside view to the Beijing Olympic Park (Bird's Nest & Water Cube) for picture opportunities.

Day 4: Beijing-Xian
After breakfast, we will take a morning flight to Xi'an(2 hours), the former capital of China starting point of the ancient Silk Road. A city tour which includes visiting Xian's well preserved Ancient City Walls, built in the early Ming Dynasty (about 600 years ago),and the historic Bell Tower where you can overlook the entire city. In the evening we attend a re-enactment of the royal arts performance of a 7th century Tang Dynasty Show, with a special banquet dinner of dumplings included.

Day 5: Xian
Today, the highlights include Terra-cotta Warriors. You will visit the luxury underground palace of Emperor Qinshihuang, the Archaeological Museum of 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and horses. The warriors were the soul protectors of the first emperor who united China (221BC-206BC). After that we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built as a Buddhist Monastery during the Tang Dynasty.

Day 6: Xian-Xining-Lhasa
Take a morning flight to Xining. Then you will visit the Dongguan Mosque. After dinner you'll take train and start the high plateau travel.

Day 7: On the train-Lhasa
Your train is supposed to reach Lhasa railway station at about 21:50pm. Lhasa is the capital city of the Tibet autonomous region of China. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to the hotel for a nice sleep trying to get acclimatized to the highland of 3600 meters.
Meals: None

Day 8: Lhasa
Today you will visit the magnificent Potala Palace. Have lunch and take a short rest. In the afternoon, go on visiting the Sera Monastery, then you will move on to the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. Supper is served at hotel.

Day 9: Lhasa
Your adventure begins at the Jokhang Temple, then you will move on to the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street, after lunch and a short break, continue to visit the the Tibet Museum and the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. Then you will move on to the and the Carpet Factory and have supper at the hotel.

Day 10: Lhasa-Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse, go on visiting the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain. Back to the hotel, then you will move on to the Palkhor Monastery and also tour the Gyangtse Old Street. Supper is served at your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 11: Gyangtse-Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse and transfer to the hotel. you will visit the Tashilunpo Monastery. You will also tour the New Palace of Panchen.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 12: Shigatse-Dingri
Drive to Dingri and transfer to the hotel. You will visit the Sakya Monastery and Lhatse city on the way. Supper is served at your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 13: Dingri-Everest Base Camp-Dingri
Drive to the Everest Base Camp and you will visit Rongbuk Monastery. Back to Dingri. Supper is served at your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 14: Dingri-Zhangmu
Drive to Zhangmu and transfer to the hotel. Supper is served at your hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 15: Zhangmu-Katmandu
Drive to the Friendship Bridge, Kodari. The frontier between Nepal and China (a Red Flag flies on east end of bridge). One of only two north-south road connections through the Himalaya (the other is Kunjerab Pass in Pakistan). Our guide will meet you at the Kodari of the China side. Transfer to the hotel in Katmandu.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 16: Katmandu (Sit-In-Coach tour)
After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will meet you. This morning you will visit the Katmandu Durbar Square. You will also tour the Swayambhunath Pagoda. after lunch and a short break, continue to visit the Buddhanikantha Temple and the Bouddhanath Stupa.

Day 17: Katmandu (Sit-In-Coach tour)
Today you will visit Pashupatinath Temple and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, then continue to visit the Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple, one of the most famous Vihar in Katmandu valley. Back to the hotel after visit.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch

Day 18: Depart Katmandu
Your guide will meet you at the hotel and see you off at Katmandu airport.(Service Ends)
