As one of the highlights of Chinese-American integration program, Rodeo China – the Rodeo Performance of West US will be taken place at Beijing Bird’s Nest early of October 2011.

However, 68 Chinese animal protection organizations have strongly request the rodeo performance to be cancelled on 8th July 2011. On July 15th, related Chinese animal protection organizations have displayed over 200 video clips to proof the harm that rodeo would make to the animals via an official press conference. Therefore, Chinese affiliate organizer said, the progress of communication with these organizations are still undergoing and in case animal abuse is necessary for the performance, then the show might be cancelled.

According to the Chinese animal protection organizations, the US organizer of the show should have full understanding regarding the rodeo cruelty and should not promote such games at all. By the way, since the show will be performed during October long holiday, it is estimated to have negative influence especially to children.
