Is it true that there were tons of people were buried inside the Great Wall in the ancient time?
It is true! History indicated that there were 800,000 people involved into the construction of the Great Wall in the Qin dynasty, 300,000 at least died of it. It's also said when poor labors died, soldiers simply bury the dead within the wall as a part of building material, that's why the Great Wall is regarded as the longest cemetery in the world too.
