A. Hotel: the hotel you will stay in is a high quality 3-star hotel, centrally located in the town. Like many other 3-star hotels, it has a western bathroom, 24-hour hot water, free tooth brush, shampoo, etc, all available. Be sure to bring your passport!
A. Our Guide will accompany you on the wall the entire time.
B. Restroom: We highly suggest our customers use their restroom facilities before we pick you up, as there are limited bathrooms in this area.
C. Hiking on the wall will be extensive, so please be sure to drink plenty of water and wear appropriate shoes. Hiking shoes are highly recommended.
D. Venders: There are many venders who make their livings on the Great Wall (only at Jinshanling & Simatai). Often they will wait for visitors at the entrance of the wall, and follow them almost the entire way. During the tour, they may help you, for example, help you carry your bag or give you a hand on the steep parts. If this occurs, a tip or purchase is expected.
