Huangya¡¯guan Great Wall
Huangya¡¯guan Great Wall winds on the ridge of mountains to the north of
Ji County, in Tianjin. Part of the cultural heritage of the world, it
was initially built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577) and later renovated
and lengthened in Sui Dynasty (581-618) and again during the Ming
Dynasty (1368-1644). The Huangya¡¯guan Great Wall possesses many features
including antiquity, grandness, steepness and gracefulness, and it is
regarded as an 'Impregnable Pass' in Tianjin. This section is the
longest restored section of the Great Wall with a length of 3,052 meters
(about 3,337 yards).
Itinerary:
Huangya¡¯guan Great Wall- East Qing Tomb One-day Tour
Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your
hotel in the early morning (around 8AM).
Drive to the Huangya¡¯guan Great wall (in Ji county, Tianjin, which was
built in 556AD. The unique feature here is the watch towers in two
different shapes, both round & square shape.).
After climbing on the Wall for one hour have lunch in the local
restaurant.
Drive to the East Qing tombs (82 miles away, the burial ground of the
Qing (1644-1911) emperors).
Transfer back to downtown Beijing at 6:00PM.

hour in Beijing (7:30-9:30 am, 16:30-18:30 pm). We will try our best to
do the tour according to the timetable. But we can not guarantee if it
happens to be great traffic jam. Our tour guide will notice you of the
delay in that case.
