General information:
The four-star Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing (Beijing jindu jiari fandian) is situated slight northwest of the center, close to the Fuchengmen subway station. The situation here, although not exactly central, is easily accessible and the Downtown branch, a four star hotel, is up to the usual Holiday Inn standards of service and style.
The hotel has 722 rooms and suites all equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, private bath and shower, color TV, in-house movies, IDD, in-room laptop port, mini-bar and fridge. Furthermore, the Deluxe Suite has one king size bed, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Non smoking rooms and rooms for the disabled are also available. The Executive Club, located on the fifth floor, as well as the comprehensive business center, caters to the sophisticated demands of modern business travelers.
For entertainment the restaurant also has barber & beauty salon, disco/nightclub, fitness center, jogging track, sauna/spa, and indoor swimming pool. Further facilities include baby sitting, foreign exchange, hotel doctor consultancy, limousine hire, shopping arcade, and a tour desk.
The hotel has in total 14 restaurants all of various styles, serving Western and Eastern cuisine. The Shamiana Indian Restaurant is the best of the lot, serving up a variety of authentic regional dishes. |
