Located in the city center, Beijing Shatan Hotel is a three-star hotel managed by Yumen Petroleum Administration Bureau China National Petroleum Group Corporation. It is next to the Forbidden City. To the west is Jinshan Park and Beihai Park. To the east is “Wu Si” Avenue and the site of the previous East Royal Root Park. The restaurants there serve traditional Chinese cuisine that ranges through the styles of Cantonese and Sichuan.

There are 64 guest rooms, including standard twin, deluxe single, deluxe triple, business suite and son on. All rooms are equipped with telephones, color television and central air-conditioning, 24-hour hot water, private bathroom.
