Tour BD-03: Forbidden City-Great
Wall (Badaling)-Acrobatic
Show
Tour schedule:
Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up, drive to
the Forbidden City where used to be the living residence for the
Emperors(24 emperors totally) in the Ming(1368-1644) & Qing(1644-1911)
dynasties, occupies 72 Hectares(180 Acres),it takes 2.5 hours for
visiting. Lunch will be arranged in a traditional Chinese restaurant. In
the afternoon, drive to Great Wall (Badaling,50 miles northwest of
Beijing, approximately 1.5 hours drive), enjoy the countryside view on
the way, meanwhile, our guide will make a dramatic introduction about
the Great Wall and bring you some interesting stories, as well. Upon
arrival, our tour guide will lead you to clime the Great Wall (Badaling)
or if you’d like, you can take the gondola (pay by yourself) instead of
Climbing to get a bird’s-eye view of the whole Wall. Chairman Mao said
that “You’re not a hero until you climb on the Great Wall”. Drive back
to your hotel. Hotel pick-up again at 6:30PM, drive to the theatre for
the Acrobatic show (7:15PM-8:20PM)--one of the oldest performing arts in
China.
Drive back to the hotel.

One person: US $120/RMB 880 .
2 persons: US $96/RMB 710 per person

Kind Notice:
There’re about 2.5 million vehicles in Beijing, and it said that
approximately 30,000 cars are sold every month, so there’s big rush
hour in Beijing (7:30-9:30 in the morning, 16:30-18:30 in the
afternoon). We will try our best to do the tour according to the
timetable. But we can not guarantee if it happens to be great traffic
jam. Our tour guide will notice you of the relay in that case.
Dinner should be arranged on your own.
For the customers who want to take a bird-eye view of the Great Wall,
cable car (Gondola) will be recommended.
Comfortable clothes and shoes is necessary
because there will be a long time’s hiking and walking.
Short stop will be arranged to a Jade
carving Factory where you will be shown how to distinguish the real
Jades from the fake ones and how the beautiful jade items are made. In
addition, you will be driven to a tea-house to experience the real
Chinese tea culture. Please let your guide know in advance if you don’t
want to go. And fix the new time to pick up. Please don’t worry.
If you want to take a bird-eye view of the
Great Wall, gondola will be a good choice.
Today will be a big day for walking, you are recommended to wear sport
shoes and clothes which are suitable for outdoor activities.
Dressing manner during the Acrobatic show:
People dress casually when they go to the show. They don’t need to dress
up.
Feel free of taking pictures or video, but it's better to turn your flash off.

hotel you will stay at in Beijing.
2. You will receive our confirmation email within two working days. Your
reservation is done then.
3. Our tour guide will contact you the night before the tour to inform
you the time to pick you up in the next morning, or, if you are not in
the hotel, the guide will leave a message in your room to inform you the
time to pick you up.
4. Enjoy your tour with our guide.
Payment:
You can pay cash to the tour guide when you aboard the vehicle. Both RMB
and dollar is acceptable.
