Tour BD-04: Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Hutong Tour schedule: Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at either 8:30am or 9:00am, drive to the Tiananmen Square- the largest square in the world. It will take about half hour to go around it. And then walk directly into the Forbidden City where used to be the living residence for the Emperors (24 emperors totally) in the Ming(1368-1644) & Qing(1644-1911) dynasties, occupies 72 Hectares(180 Acres), it takes 2.5 hours for visiting. Chinese traditional food will be arranged at noon. After a short break, you will move on to the Hutong where you will experience real and authentic Beijing. You will be transferred back to your hotel at about 17:00pm. Dinner shall be settled on your own. We will try our best to do the tour according to the timetable. But we can not guarantee if it happens to be great traffic jam. Our tour guide will notice you of the relay in that case. Dinner should be arranged on your own. During the tour, short time visit to the pearl shop or tea house will be arranged. Please let your guide know in advance if you don’t want to go. Taking photos in Hutong area: Feel free to take pictures at the tourist attractions that you visit, but do not take photos of the Chinese people unless you ask them first. This is especially true in the Hutong Area, people there do not like visitors to behave this way. Do not take photos of the soldiers either. How to book the tour: 1.
