The Beijing Poly Theater, located in Poly Plaza, has played host to more than 3,000 music, dance, and drama performances. Since it's opening in 1991 it has displayed art by over 300 local and international performers, including hosting the Beijing Music Festival. With high-tech stage, lighting, and sound equipment, the Poly Theatre has become known as a first-class venue for performing arts. Since it's renovation in October 2000, the theater now consists of 1,428 seats, eight balcony boxes and two VIP boxes.The theatre draws crowds from local and foreign audiences, creating a unique atmosphere to experience Chiense performing arts.
