Jin Yang Restaurant is a time-honored restaurant serving Shanxi Cuisine in Beijing. It was the first restaurant to serve Shanxi cuisine in Beijing. The location was previously the home of Ji Xiao Lan, a famous official and writer during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). The eatery is known for the broad array of hand-cut noodles as well as their tasty roast duck. The Jin Yang Restaurant has been awarded the titles of "Best Long-standing Chinese Brand," "State-level First-class Restaurant," "Four-star Restaurant Affiliated with the Beijing Tourism Administration," and was recognized as one of the Green Food Corporations of the Country by the former Ministry of Domestic Trade. Jinyang Restaurant runs several branches in Beijing.
