This artist hang out is located in the 798 Art district. Known for it's supreme Sichuan cusine and trendy atmosphere, Tian Xia Yan is a great place to grab a bite. Started by two Chiense poets, the food is served as elegantly as a poem. Many of the dishes are original creations based off traditional dishes. The hosts empasize on appearance as much as taste and the presentation is often very unique. Two recommended dishes are: Er’mao chick gizzard and Huangshi beef. Spicey flavors are common here so be sure to order water.
