Tour Itinerary
Hotel/apartment pick-up at 8:30am and drive to Xishiku or Xuanwumen Catholic Church. After visiting the Church, you will go to Tiananmen Square- the largest downtown square in the world. From the square, you will enter the Forbidden City, which used to be the residence for the Emperors (24 emperors total) during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. It occupies 72 hectares (180 acres) and takes 1.5-2 hours to tour. 
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace- the largest and most well-preserved imperial garden in China. 
We will provide transportation back to your hotel at about 17:30.

A. Please be respectful of the Churches and turn cell phones off or put them on silent mode.
B. Please dress appropriately. It is recommended to wear slacks and sleeved shirts.
