Huangyaguan Great Wall was first built in Sui dynasty (556) and renovated by famous military general Qijiguang in Ming dynasty. Running on the ridge of the mountains, 30 kilometers north of Ji county. Huangyaguan Great Wall reaches Malanyu Great Wall of Zunhua county Hebei province to the east and connects Jiangjunguan Great Wall of Pinggu district Beijing on the west.
Huangyaguan Great Wall has total length of 42 km with 52 watch towers and 14 beacon towers. The Huangyaguan Great Wall has two sections: Huangyaguan and Taipingzhai.
